Review of AClassroomDiva
First of all, I have been subscribed to AClassroomDiva on YouTube for a while now, so when I got the opportunity to review the blog of an educator for my class, I thought of her immediately! I'm so excited to share this wonderful teacher with you! Her bubbly personality and helpful videos really drew me to her and I know they will enchant you as well. At this time, (Summer 2017) she has just finished up teaching in a third grade classroom this year and, according to her About Me page, has experienced teaching and aiding in Pre-K through third grade. I hope to teach those grades in the future, so I already see a lot of similarities between us! This is why I find her to be such an amazing role model to me personally.
I found AClassroomDiva on YouTube when I was searching for ideas for teacher-appropriate clothing so I could update my closet a little. She has uploaded shopping hauls, look books, and a week of teacher outfit ideas and put them all in a playlist. These videos have really given me an idea of what kind of outfit to put together in order to look cute and still be appropriate for school. Then, I dug deeper into her channel and found out that she had a variety of videos that were helpful for aspiring teachers like me! To fellow students in the College of Education: we will be student teaching before we know it! It is never too early to start preparing! I listed a couple of these informative videos below, but for even more tips and tricks I would definitely suggest checking out her channel.

She also has a lot of different videos for current teachers, like tips for Classroom Management and fun ideas to incorporate into your classroom. There are also videos like a Classroom Tour and A Day In The Life of a Third Grade Teacher that I found not only helpful, but inspiring and comforting. Now I at least have an idea of what to expect when I reach my goal of becoming a teacher. These videos make me so excited to decorate and run my own classroom!
Not only does AClassroomDiva have videos for teaching, she has a lot of do-it-yourself crafting videos AND posts that you can find on her blog. Here is a post about a DIY TV Stand Makeover that I thought was particularly astounding; I can't believe how well it turned out! I also found this Reversible Scarecrow/Snowman craft to be too adorable not to share! Some other really neat features of her blog include some other recommendations of related blogs to visit. They are on the bottom of the page in the left sidebar; labeled “My Favorites”. I found them all to be both interesting and insightful. The websites include many resources including articles and blog posts about flipbooks and pocketbooks of all kinds. They are all very creative as well!

Another amazing find I happened upon in one of her videos was her Teachers Pay Teachers Store! There are even some free downloads that would be really valuable to new and even current teachers. I know that I will be using some of these products in my classroom FOR SURE! Not to mention the only things that you have to pay for are ridiculously inexpensive (like a majority of the website) but extremely valuable. Take a look around the site!

These features are only a few of the vast amounts of knowledge you can learn from AClassroomDiva, someone who is actually experienced in the field. As someone who aspires to become a great teacher, I believe she is a fantastic role model. I hope that you all visit her blog, YouTube channel, or social media websites as well and get as inspired as I do when I look at her content. I would definitely recommend watching some of her videos and subscribing to AClassroomDiva if you have a YouTube account.
Over all, I cannot wait to learn more from her videos to come! 😊
